Dear Readers,

On the 4th of December, I’m delighted to be cooking and speaking at The Knife Night hosted by Form & Fable in collaboration with J. Hill’s Standard. The event is a celebration of what we at Ómós cherish most - community, craftsmanship and connection.

In response to the space, my team and I will prepare several snacks in front of you, served on a selection of wares from Form & Fable makers. In addition to cooking, I’ll join a panel discussion hosted by food writer Katy McGuinness, alongside Sam Gleeson (This Is What I Do) and Anike Tyrrell (J. Hill’s Standard).

The evening will close with an auction, featuring work from some of Ireland’s foremost knife makers, including Sam Gleeson (This Is What I Do), Sam Dunn (Dunn Bladeworks), Hugo Byrne, Fingal Ferguson and Cian Healy (Proper Knives). Twenty percent of every knife sold will be donated to two Dublin-based charities, ensuring the craft on display also gives back to the community that supports it. This is a rare opportunity to own a blade from some of Ireland’s top knife makers.

The event runs from 6:15pm to 9pm at Wilton Park, Dublin 2, with an exclusive menu available on the night. Your ticket grants access to the food, auction and intimate panel discussion, as well as the opportunity to speak directly with the makers, hear their stories and learn about the craft that shapes their work.

Looking forward to seeing you there.
