Dear readers,
We are delighted to finally announce that the Ómós Forager’s Tool Kit is available to our community.
Within the pack is a set of handmade Japanese tools that the Ómós team utilises everyday. Whether we are harvesting produce from the farm, foraging for wild food, or preparing produce in our kitchen, these versatile tools provide us with the quality we need to perform.
Over the past couple of months, we have been working hard to put together a pack that better connects us to you. Working with expert bladesmiths and makers from Japan and Ireland, our pack includes carbon steel scissors originally used to prune bonsai, but today assist us in harvesting native foliage; single-forged Nigiri snippers that make cutting delicate herbs a swift task; and a Higonokami folding knife unique to the Hyōgo prefecture of Japan, perfect for everyday tasks. Our pack is thoughtfully wrapped in our Irish-made furoshiki linen cloth, terracotta in colour, to personify our connectivity with soil. To us, it is the perfect gift for any keen forager, nomad or cook.
We have a very limited amount in stock and would like to take the opportunity to offer first access to our paid subscribers starting today, with shipping worldwide. Our pack is available for €120 with free postage to those living in Ireland.
